A growing company with Vernal roots has partnered with Uintah Basin Technical College to provide scholarship opportunities for residents of Duchesne, Daggett, and Uintah Counties. ProPetro started as Big Four Cementing in Vernal in 2001 and has since grown to ProPetro operations across Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Texas. “Giving back is essential to our values,” shares ProPetro Cement operations Vice President, Beau Tenney. Tenney said this partnership not only involves financial contributions but also offers opportunities to train and expand the local workforce. In addition to offering scholarships, ProPetro has generously donated a Class B Semi to UBTech’s CDL program, providing students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
