Uintah Basin Technical College has announced a new partnership with an online career charter school. ‘Career Academy Utah’ currently has students residing in the Uintah Basin and rural Utah is viewed as a target market for students for the new charter school, shares the Academy’s executive director Bonita Teasley. Career Academy Utah is a natural fit with UBTech. “We are pleased to partner with other educational institutions,” shares UBTech President Aaron Weight. “We want to continue to show the power of technical education to as many Utah residents as possible and quickly align students with high-paying careers.” UBTech and Career Academy Utah will create a Memorandum of Understanding which will be Career Academy Utah’s first agreement with a technical institution in Utah.
