Uintah Basin Healthcare has joined the effort to expand local COVID-19 testing, pairing with TriCounty Health Department and TestUtah.com. The new testing site is at Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt, where they were already performing testing as a hospital but they had limited tests and previously very few people qualified to be tested. Now, by pairing with TestUtah.com, any interested individuals will likely qualify for FREE COVID-19 testing, regardless of symptoms, while supplies last. Testing appointments begin Monday, April 20th, at 9am and is located in the tent triage area west of the ER entrance. It will be available 24/7 at the Roosevelt location until further notice. Those interested are invited to complete the online questionnaire at www.testutah.com. This is also true for those that would like to be tested at the TriCounty Health Department testing location in Vernal. Please keep up your window when you arrive and have your QR code and ID ready. The test will be performed while you remain in the vehicle and the process takes approximately 5 minutes. Testing results are sent via email or text within 48 to 72 hours.
