Two Treated For Head Wounds After Violent Disorderly Disturbance

Two people, including a minor, were treated for injuries at Ashley Regional Medical Center after a violent rampage that took place on December 10th in Uintah County. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 50-year-old Dustin Joseph Bryant broke multiple windows including the windshield of a vehicle while intoxicated to the point of being a danger to himself and others. Bryant initiated a disorderly disturbance during which he caused serious bodily injury to a minor and injury and unconsciousness to another individual. He allegedly was in an argument with a man when he began swinging a stereo speaker around. The man’s daughter and niece came out to see what was happening and were both struck by the swinging speaker. The niece was rendered unconscious and both were taken to the hospital for injuries to the head. The daughter received stitches on her head and the niece needed 7 staples for the wound to her head. Bryant was arrested and taken to Uintah County Jail on the charges of Aggravated Child Abuse, Aggravated Assault, Criminal Mischief, Intoxication, and Disorderly Conduct.
