Trip To The Tanning Salon Ends In Arrest

A trip to the tanning salon ended in arrest for one woman in Roosevelt last week. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers responded to a welfare check call on November 8th after a customer using a tanning bed did not come out and did not respond to repeated requests to do so. When officers arrived the woman had finally come out but was identified as 42-year-old Sarah Jane Duncan who had an active no bail warrant. She was placed under arrest and taken to Roosevelt Police Department. Within her makeup bag was found white crystal substance consistent with Methamphetamine and a meth tooter. Duncan was booked on Possession of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and the no bail warrant. She has been charged in the incident with 3rd Degree Felony Possession or Use of a Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She is being held with no bail.
