After a very long year, TriCounty Health Department is reporting on a hopeful trend. TriCounty Health shared on Monday that week by week COVID-19 case counts are on the decline. From April 10th through the 17th there were 35 new COVID-19 positive cases in the tri-county area. This is a decrease from the week before which reported 53 new COVID-19 positive cases. The tri-county area has 144 total active COVID-19 positive cases, with 3,769 recovered to date. There have been a total of 279 COVID-19 hospitalizations to date and a total of 33 COVID-19 related deaths.
