TriCounty Health Officer Kirk Benge caught up with Amy in the Eagle Country 105.5 FM studio this week with an update on COVID-19 vaccination efforts. “We are cruising along. We’ve been getting increased doses each week,” shares Benge. Since moving to larger locations for vaccine sites, TriCounty Health is distributing 400 to 500 vaccines a day now and that is in addition to the other partners like Walmart and Smiths. Vaccines have also opened up for more members of the public. Anyone 50 and older and anyone 18 and older with specific health conditions can schedule their vaccine through www.tricountyhealth.com. The list of health conditions expanded to include any type of diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and anyone 18 and older with a BMI of 30 or higher.
