The snow and cold have arrived making it great timing for the warm clothing drive being held by TriCounty Health Department. “TriCounty Health works with many underserved populations in our communities, and our staff really appreciate having these donations available to help people during the winter months,” shares TriCounty Health Director Kirk Benge. TriCounty Health announced that they will accept all warm clothing and accessories from hats and scarves, to gloves, blankets, sweatpants and hoodies. All sizes of new and lightly used items of clothing are accepted for donation. Staff will provide the donated items to families in need this winter, as identified during regular efforts in the community, and in collaboration with Tribal partners and Uintah Basin Association of Governments. Donation boxes in Vernal are located at TriCounty Health, USU, Davis Food & Drug, and the Uintah County Library. Donation boxes in Roosevelt are located at TriCounty Health, Stewart’s Grocery, Roosevelt City building, and USU.
