Public health officials have great news. Cases of COVID-19 continue to drop in the TriCounty Health District and throughout Utah. With 99 active COVID-19 cases, the tri-county area is now under 100 active COVID-19 cases for the first time in months. “If more people get vaccinated the more chance we have of lowering this number even more,” shares TriCounty Health. Governor Cox shared on Tuesday that Utah has distributed more than 2 million vaccines so far in the state and close to 90 percent of those over 65 and close to 60 percent of all adults in Utah have at least had their first dose. The vaccine continues to be available at the Vernal and Roosevelt TriCounty Health locations. Visit www.tricountyhealth.com for more information.
