TriCounty Health Department offered clarification on Saturday afternoon on misinformation on testing and follow up instructions offered to those who are tested. “TriCounty Health Department instructs those who are tested for COVID-19 to self-quarantine until test results are available,” shares TriCounty Health. “Test results can take about 48 hours. When a person has a positive test result, TriCounty Health Department does not tell individuals it is OK to get in a cab. TriCounty Health Department also does not issue ankle monitors. TriCounty Health Department recommends you go home and self-quarantine until further instructions.”
