Tri-County Area COVID-19 Transmission Level Update (1/21/21 – 1/27/21)

The TriCounty Health District COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels reports Uintah County and Duchesne County at the High Transmission Level and Daggett County at the Low Transmission Level.. At the time of Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 24 percent and there were 200 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 12 percent and there were 84 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 30 percent and there were 9 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 14 COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 1 new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization was 95 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 42 percent.
