Tri-County Area COVID-19 Transmission Level Update (1/14/21 – 1/20/21)

The TriCounty Health District COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels remain with Uintah County and Duchesne County at the High Transmission Level and Daggett County is in the Low Transmission Level.. At the time of Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 32 percent and there were 269 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 27 percent and there were 141 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 25 percent and there were 11 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 11 COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 3 new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization was 90 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 36 percent.
