In case you didn’t know, it is treasure hunt season in Utah. An Iowa woman, who made multiple trips to Utah in search of the $25,000 dollar treasure through Utah Treasure Hunt, found the hidden booty just days ago in Bountiful up Mueller Park Trail. It was day 51 of the hunt and she credits in part her use of Google maps in solving the poem’s clues from her home in Iowa. The opportunities to find treasure in Utah also extend to the Uintah Basin. The Treasure Games has a $13,000 dollar treasure still waiting to be found in the Uintah Basin. The Dominguez – Escalante expedition based hunt started on June 8th and the chest and treasure literally contains artifacts from the 1700s including a Spanish sword, dagger, silver, gold, candle sticks, and chest. Search ‘The Treasure Games’ on YouTube. The Outlaws Lost Treasure Hunt is another treasure hunt with valuable loot. Last year’s hunt had over 350 teams competing. The hunt will start Friday, July 28th and is puzzle based with clues and hints throughout the Vernal area. Find more information at www.OutlawsLostTreasure.com
