Potholes be gone! Road work on over 20 miles of the road that runs south from Green River, Wyoming will make for a smoother ride once complete. The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office has reported that construction is anticipated to run through mid August on the project of County Road #1 McKinnon Road from mile marker 2 to mile marker 25.4 south of Green River and off State Highway 530. The road is closed to through traffic daily from 7am to 7pm. The roadway will then be reopened to traffic every evening and overnight from 7pm to 7am. When open, please plan accordingly, follow all construction traffic signs, and expect delays due to speed changes associated with the ongoing construction work.
