It’s been a magical season so far for the Uintah Basin’s Own Idol Contest Alive After 5 and amazing performers have advanced to the finale event next week. The top four advancing after last night’s competition are Faith Simper, Jacob Murray, Kinley Rich and Madi Haslem. Event producer Autumn Hancock says that this year’s Alive After 5 has been one for the books. “I am so impressed with the talent in the Basin,” shares Hancock. “Everyone brings a different style and energy to the competition. I literally didn’t want to see anyone go home this week. However, I know the top 4 contestants will deliver their best performance for the finale. Faith Simper is just a tiny little thing with this amazingly powerful and beautiful voice. Kinley Rich is only 12 years old and sings and performs like a seasoned pro. Madi Haslem has an amazing voice, great energy on stage and her song choices are always on point. Last but definitely not least, Jacob Murray is a true blue rocker who can also sing just about anything.” If you haven’t been to Alive After 5 this summer, don’t miss the finale event on Thursday, August 10th in front of the Uintah County Library.
