Tiny Trout At Home In the Uintah County Library Children’s Section

The Uintah County Library is so much more than just a spot to find books. For example, the library is now hosting weekly senior socials on Wednesdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm, providing an opportunity for the senior citizens of our community to make friends and get engaged in a fun activity. On the other end of the age spectrum, the children’s programs at the Uintah County Library are well known and attended but there is something new to see in the children’s section that may even surprise regulars. The children’s librarians are caring for what started out as trout eggs just a month ago. The eggs are now tiny trout that were big enough to release into their tank just this week! All are welcome to come see the growing fish for themselves. Keep up on other library adventures on the Uintah County Library Facebook page, by visiting www.uintahlibrary.org, or of course by coming into the library.
