The Furever Buddy’s Dog Rescue and others in the community have made great efforts to help the 101 chihuahuas rescued from a home evacuated during the Dollar Ridge Fire in July. The Rescue provided an update this week on several of the dogs that are still struggling and how the community can help. “Our rescue currently has about 14 timid, anxious, stressed out Dollar Ridge chihuahuas that we are still currently socializing and working with,” shares the Rescue. “We have found that ThunderShirts are a huge help with making them feel more comfortable with their surroundings and current situations.” A ThunderShirt is a type of dog anxiety jacket. The invitation is for those who feel so moved, to help by donating more of these special jackets. For more information, call
