The Ute boys basketball team traveled to Orem to take on the Mountain View Bruins last Friday. The Utes trailed by 18 at the half, then staged massive comeback that fell just short in the 60-59 loss. Dauson Gardiner scored 24 in the loss.
They then hosted Grand Junction Saturday afternoon. The Utes trailed by 10 after three quarters, then made a fourth quarter comeback, capped off by Brayden Murray 3-point basket to send the game into overtime. The Ute momentum carried them to a 60-52 victory.
The Utes host Layton Christian Tuesday and travel to Provo Friday.
