Part of charter school Terra Academy’s vision statement references being stewards of the environment, a sentiment they continue to show is more than just talk. A recent example of this is the team of professionals the school brought in to clear a back field on their property. A team of 59 goats and a few sheep from ‘We Goat This LLC’ were brought in on Thursday to get the job done right. The team of hungry experts got right to work weeding the back field so pollinator plants can eventually be planted. A Terra representative emphasized that using ‘We Goat This’ is a great organic method available to the community and the method was one that the students were very excited about.
