A Vernal City traffic alert has been issued for travelers to be aware of a road closure this week in the downtown area. “The 200 South water line replacement project is underway!” shares Vernal City. “As of [Tuesday], 200 South remains closed to through traffic between 100 East and 400 East. However, by Friday, everything from 200 East to 500 East is expected to be open to all traffic.” Residents in this area are asked to please use extra caution around construction crews. Also, this closure will impact on-street parking for the Western Park and Uintah Conference Center through Thursday though parking lots can still be accessed. Please make safety the top priority around any construction zones.
