Task Force Conducts Search Warrant And Finds Large Quantity Of Fentanyl

Charges were filed on Tuesday against a Vernal woman who was arrested on May 15th at her residence during a search warrant conducted by members of the U.S. Marshals, FBI Task Force, and Uintah Basin Narcotic Strike Force. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the Task Force Agents located broken up blue pills in a purse and methamphetamine, a large quantity of blue Fentanyl pills, and a powder version of Fentanyl all in the bedroom of 31-year-old Haley Raven Burnett. There was also large quantities of foil, pipes, tutors, and other items for drug use activity. When interviewed, Burnett was asked if any information on her phone would indicate narcotic distribution activity and she admitted there probably would be. Burnett was booked for Possession of Controlled Substances, including the distribution of Fentanyl. Burnett is booked for her Initial Appearance in court on June 24th.
