The Vernal City Police Department asked the public to keep an eye out last Thursday after 3 vehicles were stolen from a local business. While two of the vehicles had been recovered the third, a black 2013 Chevy Silverado, had yet to be located. Eventually the Silverado was also located and Vernal PD thanked the community for the assistance. “The theft of the vehicles are still under investigation,” shares Vernal PD. Anyone with information on the thefts are asked to please call 435-789-4222. This is just one example of the uptick of thefts in the region. All community members are reminded to keep homes and vehicles locked up. It’s also wise to invest in improved outdoor lighting on your home and security features like a doorbell camera.
