Paddlefest is almost here and at a new location for this year only. The Steinaker State Park Paddlefest is coming up this Saturday from 10am to 10pm. The festivities include free park entrance and of course free access to paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes for use during the event. Park Manager Amanda Clark worked hard to keep the spirit of the event even though it is normally at Red Fleet. There will be vendors and food, water tramps and inflatables, a treasure hunt in the morning and concert in the afternoon and fireworks when things wrap up at 10pm. As some bonus activities there is a drive in movie on Friday night and a scorpion hunt. Obviously, it will be the place to be. Direct questions to 435-789-4432.
