Preliminary Primary Election results are in. The following results came from
www.vote.utah.gov
on Tuesday night at midnight. For U.S. Senate, Mitt Romney received 71.71% of the popular vote while Mike Kennedy received 28.29%. For State House 69 which includes part of Duchesne County, Christine Watkins had 60.99% of the popular vote and Jae Potter received 39.01%. For the Republican ticket of the Senate District 26 race, Ronald Winterton received 43.37% of the popular vote followed by Brian Gorum with 33.84% and Jack Rubin with 22.79%. For the Democratic ticket of the Senate District 26 race, Eileen Gallagher received 62.01% of the popular vote and Pat Vaughn received 37.99%.
