Those seeking to have the decision of changing the Utah flag placed on the ballot are continuing their pursuit and are having a flag petition drive in Vernal this month. Local Jeff Shoell is part of a network of Utahns gathering signatures that believe Utahns, whether they love the new flag or hate it, should have their voice heard on the matter by having it placed on the November 2024 ballot. The flag petition drive is seeking signatures to see that happen. There will be a booth gathering signatures at the Vernal Walmart on January 18th from 10am to 6pm.
