St. George Woman Steals Financial Information From Hosts In Duchesne County

A St. George woman is facing three 3rd Degree Felony charges for alleged actions while staying as a guest at a home in Duchesne County. According to the Affidavit for Arrest Warrant, officers responded to a report of illegal activity on a financial transaction card in Duchesne County on March 25th. Two victims had reported that their cards had been used for unauthorized purchases totalling $2,698 dollars in merchandise. The evidence collected determined that a house guest identified as 46-year-old Sarah Stewart Perez had unlawfully acquired and made copies of the information on the two victims’ transaction cards while visiting and staying at their residence. The purchases were made at various stores around Duchesne County and on her way home to St. George. She is charged with three counts of 3rd Degree Felony Unlawful Acquisition of a Financial Card and one count of Misdemeanor Unlawful Use of a Financial Card.
