The Union Cougar basketball team hosted the Delta Rabbits last Wednesday. Trailing at the half, the Cougars defense took hold as well as the offense in the second half to beat the Rabbits 49-37. Joey Samson scored 11 points with Koy Rasmussen and Boone Latham each scoring 10 in the win.
Friday they traveled to Mount Pleasant to take on the North Sanpete Hawks. Boone Latham scored 16, but was the only Cougar in double figures as the Cougars fell to the Hawks 52-40.
They’re at Manti Wednesday, then host Juab Friday.
