The Union boys baseball team headed to Juab High school pod site to kick off the 3A baseball tournament facing Emery. The Spartans put together a big fourth inning to build a 7-1 lead, then the Cougars started to chip away at the lead, but fell short to lose 7-6.

d the Morgan Trojans. Kayson Marx pitched a shut out as the Cougars got the win 5-0.
The Cougars
then faced the 2nd ranked Canyon View Falcons on Thursday losing a close one 4-3 to end their season.

The Union Cougz softball team traveled to the Spanish Fork complex to face the tough Emery Spartans in the 3A state tournament in the one loss bracket. Trailing 1-0 going into the last two innings, Jaden Yazzie drove in two runs in the sixth inning, then drove in two more in the seventh, as the Cougz came from behind to beat the Spartans 4-1. Allie Earl held the Spartans to only three hits in the win.
They then faced Grand County that was hitting their peak for the tournament, losing 12-0 to end their season.

The Union Cougz softball team traveled to the Manti High school pod site to start the 3A softball tournament, facing number 6 Canon View. The Falcons rode a strong fourth inning to a 17-2 victory. The Cougars then faced the Richfield Wildcats. Parker Labrum drove in seven runs as the Cougz easily handled the Wildcats 21-3 in four innings.
The Cougars will now travel to the Spanish Fork complex to face the loser between South Summit and Emery.

After an 11-1 loss at Emery last Tuesday, the Union boys baseball team head to Juab High school pod site on Saturday to kick off the 3A baseball tournament, once again facing Emery. The Spartans put together a big fourth inning to build a 7-1 lead, then the Cougars started to chip away at the lead, but fell short to lose 7-6.
 The Cougars then faced the Morgan Trojans. Kayson Marx pitched a shut out as the Cougars got the win 5-0.
The Cougars will face 2nd ranked Canyon View Thursday at 11 am in Spanish Fork.
