Uintah High School Boy's Baseball

The Uintah boys baseball team placed 17th in the RPI and head to Salt Lake to face Skyline High the number 16 seed for the best out of three match up.
Game one took place Saturday, with the Utes starting off with the early lead, but an Eagle home run in the bottom of the first tied the game, then the Eagles slowly pulled away to build a 4-1 lead going into the top of the seventh inning.
Kaedyn Sheffield doubled to lead off, Drey Sutton drove him in with a single, followed by a Gage Murray single, then Jaron Colton doubled and Coach Labrum sent Gage home as he beat out a close play at the plate to give the Utes the lead. The Utes then withstood a bases loaded bottom of the seventh as Aiden Sheetz struck out the last two batters for the Ute victory. Haiden Reary pitched six great innings to get the win.
The Utes now play
game two Monday at one o’clock with game three if necessary right after. These games will be broadcast live on NewsTalk 104.5 and am920 KVEL
