Coming off a 67-12 drubbing of the Rich Rebels in the first round of the 2A state football tournament, the Duchesne Eagles hosted the Enterprise Wolves on November 1st, working their way to a 28-12 victory, setting the Eagles up to play the number one seed in the state Beaver last Saturday for the Semifinals at Orem High School.

The Beavers scored first with a one yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The Eagles responded late in the second quarter with 4-yard touchdown run by Gavin Davis with Javier Baptista adding the point after to tie the game at the half.

A defensive struggle in the third quarter with neither team able to put anything on the board.

Early in the fourth quarter, the Beavers ran one in from the two, to take the lead. Unfortunately, the Eagles couldn't reciprocate to lose to the Beavers 14-7 in a hard fought match-up.

Congratulations to the Eagles for finishing tied for third in 2A State!

The wolves responded with a touchdown of their own to make it 22-6 at the half.
