The Altamont Lady Longhorns hosted the Enterprise Wolves last Friday. A tight ballgame early on, then the ‘Horns built a ten point lead going into the fourth quarter, then withheld a fourth quarter comeback by the Wolves to hold on for the 43-41 victory. Maddy Zeeman nailed three from beyond the arc on her way to 19 points in the win.
They then hosted the Parowan Lady Rams at noon on Saturday. Nip and tuck through three quarters, with the Ram sporting a one point lead, the Longhorns found the offense scoring 24 points in the fourth to beat the Rams 51-44. Emery Maxfield scored 15 with Laykin Murray addin 12 in the victory.
They will host North Summit Tuesday, then travel to Duchesne Thursday.

The Altamont Longhorn Boys Basketball team hosted Merit Academy Knights out of Springville last Tuesday. Cordale Taylor scored 14 with Justin Sorensen adding 12 as the ‘Horns jumped out to a huge lead and kept adding fuel in the 90-25 drubbing of the Knights.
They then hosted the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles out of Provo on Wednesday. Once again it got ugly early as the Longhorns built a 40 lead by halftime, and went on for the 83-14 victory, Taylor scored 15 and Sorensen 12 in the win.
They will host North Summit Tuesday then visit Duchesne Friday.
