Just Serve Uintah Basin makes it easy to find worthy causes to help with in the community. One of the current projects that needs the community’s support is an effort to make Comfort Kits for the Split Mountain Youth Center. Split Mountain reached out with the special request for comfort items that can be given to support the young people who find themselves staying there. “Your kind donations can make a huge difference in their lives,” shares the announcement. They are looking for donations of stuffed animals, lap-size blankets, drawing/art kits, good books and graphic novels that are engaging and age-appropriate with non-violent content, hygiene items for teens, and warm clothing for girls, including jackets, coats, shoes, and socks.
