Local archers don’t need an excuse to put on a shooting event but they also don’t shy away from organizing one for a good cause. The 30th Annual Iron Springs 3-D Fun Shoot is being held
August 4th
and 5th, this Saturday and Sunday, to benefit a local family man recently diagnosed with a heart condition. 28-year-old Jesse Jenkins is a husband and father of three kids. Jesse went in for a physical to attend High Uintah Scout Camp and that visit prompted further tests on his heart which led to surgery. Jesse is still in recovery and the testing will be ongoing. This weekend’s fun shoot as well a raffle will benefit Jesse and his family. The course will include 25 life-sized Rinehart 3-D targets that will be set up in the forest and participants can come at their leisure
on Saturday from 9am
to dark and
Sunday from 9am to 2pm
to run the course. This is a family event and all are welcome regardless of experience. For more information, call
