Spike in Vandalism and Graffiti at Moonshine Arch

While the conditions that were created by the introduction of COVID-19 have generally brought out the best in our community, there are some incidents where that is not true. The Uintah Basin has a variety of nature centered parks and activities that we can enjoy. Sadly, there has been a spike of vandalism and graffiti happening specifically at Moonshine Arch. The public’s reaction has been understandably negative to those that have committed these selfish acts. Everyone in the Basin echoes this consideration while visiting any of our parks, sites, reservoirs, or monuments: Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photos, and keep nothing but memories.
