It’s always a good day to visit Flaming Gorge and enjoy time in the Ashley National Forest but tomorrow is a great day to make that trip as the Forest Service is hosting a special presentation by Mike Smith, wildlife biologist for Northeastern Utah Avian Education Center and Aviary. Smith has nearly 3 decades of experience as a wildlife biologist whose expertise is in resolving human wildlife conflicts. The Northeastern Utah Avian Education Center specializes in educating about all types of birds and provides unique experiences to educate the public. Tomorrow’s event with Mike Smith is all about Birds of Prey. The event will be held at 11am at West Greens Lake on Red Canyon Road between Red Canyon Lodge and the Red Canyon Visitor Center. Bringing a blanket or chairs is recommended.
