There did not appear to be any life threatening injuries as result of a plane crash on Friday morning in Duchesne County. According to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and emergency personnel were dispatched to the crash near Moon Lake at about 11:45am. “The plane, a Cessna T210M, had taken off Friday morning from Roosevelt with six people on board. They were flying near Moon Lake when the plane began to experience engine trouble. The plane crashed just south of the lake near a group campground, according to deputies. One man who was on the plane was flown by medical helicopter to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. His injuries were serious but did not appear to be life-threatening, deputies said. Another man, two women and two teenagers who were on the plane were transported by ambulance to Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt. An update on their conditions is not available.” The crash is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
