A sexual assault that allegedly took place on a worksite in Uintah County has resulted in a criminal charge for the accused. According to the Probable Cause Statement, 43-year-old Joel Ocampo Martinez was working on a job site in Uintah County on July 24th when he approached a female also working at the job site and asked her if she was single. Martinez told her he wanted to kiss her and was told no. Martinez ignored the objections and grabbed her, kissed her neck, and grabbed her private areas over her clothing. The female told him to stop and tried pushing him away. On August 12th, a charge of 2nd Degree Felony Forcible Sexual Abuse was filed against Joel Martinez in 8th District Court.
