Semi Overturns on Highway 40 in Accident with Passenger Car

Thankfully injuries were minor in an accident that took place between Naples and Jensen involving a semi and passenger car
on Sunday evening
. According to Utah Highway Patrol, the crash took place
at about 5:05pm
on Highway 40 at MM 155. A passenger car was making a turn off of Highway 40 when a westbound semi truck and trailer struck the corner of the car. The collision resulted in the semi overturning in the roadway. The semi driver and the driver and passenger in the car only sustained minor injuries, according to UHP. The eastbound lane of Highway 40 was closed for two hours.
