2020 foiled plenty of plans to make memories for high school students but that only makes them all the more excited that Prom is happening this spring! In an effort to be sure all the kids can get spiffed up and feel fancy without breaking the bank, great minds have joined forces for a formal clothing collection drive. The Uintah County Heritage Museum and the Uintah Tweens ‘N’ Teens Youth Council are holding the ‘Say Yes to a Prom Dress’ Collection Drive and Getaway and they are accepting donations now until April 2nd. They are accepting dresses, shoes, accessories, suits and tuxedos. All are asked to be in clean and gently-used, good condition. The drop off locations are the Uintah County Library and the Heritage Museum. Those interested in scheduling an appointment to look at the items that can be used for Prom are asked to call 435-789-6297. Those appointments will be taking place 10am to 4pm on March 26th and 27th as well as April 2nd and 3rd.
