Locals with big hearts and a knack for spreading Christmas spirit are busy preparing for another holiday season of helping families in need as part of ‘Santa’s Angels’. Matt and Alina Tate and their children are the muscle behind the effort who are well known and loved for their amazing costumes as Santa and his helpers. Right now they are recruiting this year’s ‘Angel Families’ which are those who adopt the families in need for the coming Christmas. “We have done this for 21 years now, and helped 45 Uintah Basin Families receive Christmas last year who would have otherwise went without,” shared the Tates this week. “We would encourage at this time all who want to experience the joy and happiness that giving during this season brings. [Reach out to] us and we will explain how it works and put you on the list.” And to be clear, this is NOT the time to submit applications for families in need. That will be announced later when it is time. If you would like to get involved with Santa’s Angels, call Alina at 435-219-3757.
