Roosevelt City’s secondary water project continues and an update issued Monday makes a request of community members. “With school starting this past week, the roadways are busier, and the project team asks that those traveling on these roadways remain vigilant, obeying the traffic control that is in place,” shares the August 26th announcement. “Also, it is important that vehicles are not parked on the roadway between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm wherever crews are present. This is to provide sufficient room for the crew to work and to prevent any accidental damage to vehicles. Thank you for your understanding and patience as this project moves along.” The secondary water project currently has a crew installing main line on 1080 South and 50 East, and another crew installing services on Gates Drive. The plan for next week is to continue installation of the main line on 1150 South and 1700 South. The service crew will follow shortly behind, installing services on 1080 South, 50 East, and 1150 South. There will also be a crew patching the trenches where work is completed. These areas include 350 North, 750 West, 950 West, 300 North, Gates Drive, and Nelson Avenue in Roosevelt.
