The chill of fall is in the air and pretty soon cold weather gear will be a must. For those
running short on coats and hoodies for this coming season, the Rotary Club of Vernal is
hosting their Winter Coat and Hoodie Drive in November as an opportunity to get warm
gear for every member of your family. In the meantime, the Rotary Club is busy
collecting donations of new and gently used coats in all sizes and for all ages. There is an
immediate need for kids coats so please go through your closets and drop off gently used
or new gear at the Uintah County Library, Davis Food and Drug, State Farm Insurance, or
Neighborhood Cleaners. The event is being held a little later in the season this year so
more people are thinking in terms of the need for warm gear as the cold is already setting
in. Donations will be collected through November 5th and the Coat & Hoodie Drive will
be held November 8th from 3 to 7pm at the Uintah County Library.
