Hopefully this is now old news but as of the last update on Monday, Roosevelt City was working to fully repair issues with a main water line break that occurred near 100 North 300 East. Around 11:15am on Monday, Roosevelt City announced that due to the line break, city crews had to shut off water on 100 North from Highway 40 to Lagoon Street with the expectation that water would be off for the remainder of the day. Roosevelt City updated on Monday afternoon that the main line had been repaired and covered and the line would begin to pressurize at 4pm and be back to normal by 6pm. Unfortunately, the line began to leak again during that pressurization process. Crews had to re-excavate the line to see where the water was coming from and as of last report on Monday, water would remain off until the problem could be addressed. Updates are expected to be shared on the Roosevelt City Facebook page.
