False accusations can have serious consequences as one Roosevelt woman has recently learned. According to court records, the woman called 9-1-1 on October 22nd, claiming that her husband was “threatening to cut her son and her up for parts.” She also said that her husband was in the house armed with a chainsaw. Law enforcement rapidly responded and as police attempted to enter the home by force, the husband opened the door. The woman who called was located in the home and was heavily intoxicated and was unable to stand or walk, reporting to officers that she had drunk a half gallon of vodka. There was no evidence her husband had posed any threat. The woman was arrested and is charged with 2nd Degree Felony Emergency Reporting Abuse.
