Two local businesses that entertain the public and give families activities to enjoy together were rightfully recognized at the Eastern Utah Economic Summit on Monday in Carbon County. Richard and Wilma Snow with Roosevelt Theatres were awarded ‘Business of the Year’. The Summit was hosted by Utah State University Eastern and Congressman John Curtis. The other big winner was Aaron and Lianne Ames with Altamont Theatre, winning 3rd place in the 5-minute Pitch Competition and selected for the People’s Choice Award. Evans Family Media joins the Chamber of Commerce serving Duchesne County in congratulating the Snows and the Ames while also saying thank you for providing our community with your wonderful businesses!
