The Roosevelt Sports Complex project, sometimes referred to as the “Ball Field” project, is moving forward. Roosevelt City Council members Rowdy Cloward and Cody Aland were nominated to participate in meetings with project engineers to help decide how the project will be handled moving forward.
The new sports complex will be located at Constitution Park inside the open area of the walking path. It will add 16 acres to Constitution Park which is currently 35 acres. Plans for the sports complex include 4 new baseball/softball fields for both youth and adults, new added green lawn space for youth soccer fields, and a new multi-use cement surface for pickleball and an ice-skating rink.
