A Roosevelt man is facing charges after allegedly giving an STD to a minor. 25-year-old Jaden Cecil Priebe has been charged in 8th District Court with two counts of 3rd Degree Felony Unlawful Sexual Activity with a Minor and Class A Misdemeanor Willful Introduction of a Communicable Disease. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, a 17-year-old girl spoke with a Roosevelt City Police Officer on February 7th stating that she and Jaden Priebe had intimate relations on two days in January, after which she said she “was told by multiple people that she needed to get tested for an STD because Jaden had told people he had an STD.” The girl went and got tested and her Doctor called and informed her she had contracted an STD and that she “would have this the rest of her life. [The] Victim stated Jaden did not tell her he had an STD.” The Officer called Jaden Priebe to come to the Police Department for an interview, which he agreed to, but the Officer later received a call from an Attorney saying that Jaden would not be speaking to police. As of the date of the Affidavit of Probable Cause statement, the Officer had not been able to locate Jaden Priebe. On February 28th, 8th District Court Judge Samual Chiara issued a summons for Priebe whose initial court appearance is scheduled for March 16th.
