The Roosevelt Branch Library has had plenty to celebrate lately. On Saturday, the library was packed to celebrate the one of kind Dr. Seuss. “We had over 300 people show up,” shares Librarian Stephen Moon. “Think about 300 people in our library. That is double last year’s turn out.” Dressed convincingly as The Lorax, Moon read Dr. Seuss books aloud for an hour straight to a captivated audience of all ages. There were also quizzes, quests, and crafts. “Everyone had a great time,” continues Moon. “My crew did so amazing handling the unexpected numbers. It was a total success.” The event is just further evidence of the good coming from the Roosevelt Branch Library. Mr. Moon was recently named the 2018 Librarian of the Year by the Utah Library Association.
