Roosevelt City recently announced that the City’s State Street Reconstruction Project is about to begin. The project consists of road widening, a chip seal, paving, curb and gutter, and sidewalks. The current schedule has crews starting April 19th by installing underground utilities (Irrigation Line Installation, Install Water Services, Block Retaining Wall Installation) on State Street south of Highway 40 to 800 South. This work will continue throughout April and into May. The traveling public should expect short delays due to one lane of travel in this area. Safety is the greatest priority of Roosevelt City’s Public Works Department so please watch closely for flaggers and crews working. The project is being done by Burdick Materials and is scheduled to be complete by the end of June 2023.
