The weather is getting colder and the fall season is officially here. Roosevelt City has announced that their secondary water will be shut off for the season on October 15th. There may still be residual water in the lines for a couple of days following the shut off, but please do not plan on having access to secondary water after October 16th. This changing season also means it’s time to winterize your home. In fact, freezing temperatures are anticipated tonight. Some things to think about to prepare for the colder weather include cleaning gutters and downspouts to prepare for winter, replacing the filter in the furnace, having chimneys and wood stoves cleaned, and getting out the snow shovel now so you have it before being surprised by the first snow.
